What Stays on Your Device

Some things live on your computer to make Arclet Copier work the way you want:

• Your custom templates and rules
• Your copy history—stored locally, never uploaded

This stays on your device. We don't see it. No one else does either.

Why We Need Permissions

The browser asks for permissions. Here's why we need them:

• activeTab—To copy URLs from the page you're on
• tabs—To handle multiple tabs in batch operations
• storage—To remember your settings
• notifications—To let you know when copying is done
• offscreen—To generate QR codes in the background
• clipboardWrite—To put clean URLs in your clipboard
• contextMenus—To add right-click menu options

Nothing more, nothing less. We only use what's needed.

Short Link Services

When you generate short links, your URL gets sent to the service you choose—is.gd or TinyURL. They have their own privacy policies.

We don't control what they do. Choose what you trust.

Analytics

We may use self-hosted Umami to track usage patterns, bugs, and performance. This helps us make things better.

No personal data. No tracking across sites. Just basic stats to improve the tool.

Can't breach what we don't have. Your data never leaves your device, so there's nothing to leak.
